Our Philosophy
Umbegone is a revolutionary AI bot that automatically edits your podcast and provides you with a transcript.
He was born as a result of our own podcast and our own needs. We (the founders of Umbegone) own another company called Data Crunch, and we’ve run the Data Crunch Podcast for several years.
Our Values
We know first-hand that editing is a pain. It’s tedious, time consuming, and sucks some of the fun out of talking with interesting people and sharing their stories. You’ve got to re-listen to the audio, painstakingly taking note of each um and vocal filler and then try to cut it without your audio being choppy. Then, you’ve got to pay to get your audio transcribed into text. The whole process sucks.
We figured there had to be a better way. There wasn’t. So, we built it. And it’s awesome. Umbegone saves us hours each month. He’s the warrior that never sleeps, never gets tired, and always wins the battle. We figured if he could help us, he likely could help others with their podcasts.
